This page describes what we actually test on this website, and what we know is still imperfect. WCAG 2.1 Level AA is the reference we work toward. We are not telling you the site meets it today — the shortfalls further down are real and specific, and we would rather you read them than find them.
What is checked automatically, before any change goes live
Every change to this site has to pass an automated gate before it can ship. These are not intentions — a change that breaks one of them does not reach the site:
- No page can scroll sideways on a phone. Horizontal overflow is clipped on every page, and the gate fails if a page loses that.
- The menu button on the homepage keeps a target of at least 44 by 44 pixels — big enough to hit reliably with a thumb or an imprecise tap.
- Every page has exactly one heading at the top level, so a screen reader gets a single, unambiguous page title to start from, with the rest of the page nested under it.
- Every form is built from standard HTML controls. Email and phone are separate fields with the correct input types, so the right keyboard opens on a phone and assistive technology announces each field for what it is.
- Native browser validation is never switched off. The gate blocks the one attribute that would silently disable it, so the browser's own error messages keep working.
- Every page that carries a form gives you a route without JavaScript. If scripts are blocked or fail, the page still shows the phone number and email address that reach the same people who read the form submissions.
- Submitting a form does not depend on the animation library. If that script fails to load, the form still submits and still confirms.
- The figures in the homepage panels are real text in the page, readable before any counting animation runs, rather than numbers that only exist once the animation has played.
- The "reduce motion" setting in your operating system is honoured on every page. With it switched on, the video clips stop playing and hold their still frames, the client logo strip on the homepage stops scrolling and lays every logo out at once, and the sections that normally fade in as you scroll are simply already there. That last part is the one the gate is strictest about: less motion must never mean less content, so a change that would leave any faded-in element invisible instead of finished is blocked.
Where we know we fall short
Embedded maps. The service-area, airport, and homepage maps are Google Maps embeds. They are Google's component, and we cannot change how they behave with a keyboard or a screen reader. Every city, airport, and area shown on a map is also written out in the text of the page, so nothing is available only inside a map.
Video. The clips on the homepage and gallery have no captions. They carry no speech or narration — the files have no audio track at all — and nothing is explained in them that is not also written in the text beside them.
No skip link. There is not yet a "skip to main content" link, so a keyboard user tabs through the navigation on every page.
This site has not been independently audited by an accessibility firm. Everything above is our own testing, described plainly.
If something here blocks you, tell us
We treat it as a defect, not a suggestion. Email [email protected] or call 480-797-5584 and tell us what happened and what you were using. If the form is what is stopping you, call and we will take the details down for you — the phone reaches the same people.
